Families come together to exchange gifts, share festive meals, and offer prayers to deities, particularly Goddess Lakshmi, the symbol of wealth and prosperity. One of the most iconic elements of Diwali is the bursting of fireworks and firecrackers, which light up the night sky in a dazzling display of colors and sounds.
