Day 1: Delhi to Agra Depart from Delhi and drive to Agra. Arrive in Agra and head straight to the Taj Mahal, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Spend a few hours exploring this magnificent monument and its beautiful gardens. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant or hotel. After lunch, visit the Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This fort is known for its stunning Mughal architecture and offers great views of the Taj Mahal from its walls. If time permits, explore the local markets in Agra, where you can shop for souvenirs, such as marble artifacts and handicrafts. Check into a hotel in Agra for the night. Day 2: Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. En route to Jaipur, make a stop at Fatehpur Sikri, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. This former Mughal capital is known for its impressive red sandstone structures. Continue your drive to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. The journey takes around 4-5 hours and covers a distance of about 240 km. Arrive in Jaipur and have lunch at a local restaurant or your hotel. Visit the City Palace, which showcases a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture, and explore Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory. Take a photo stop at the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), an iconic Jaipur landmark. Check into a hotel in Jaipur for the night or continue to explore the city if you have the energy.
