City Palace also includes Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal along with other buildings in the complex. This Palace is located in the center of the city. The palace was based on the science of architecture, Vastu and according to Shilpa Shastra derived in historical India. Maharaja, Sawai Jai Singh along with Vidyadhar Bhattacharya built the city palace together. Hawa Mahal or the Palace of the Winds has got a new name now, which is the Palace of Jaipur. It was originally built in the year 1799 for women to observe the streets without being seen by others, the palace is now one of the most iconic buildings in Jaipur. It has 935 small windows that decorate the exterior of the building, which has five floors in its totality. Jantar Mantar was built by the Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh II, and got completed in 1734 century. It has nineteen astronomical instruments and all the instruments so available here are created by stones and are giant and vast structures. It is being said that to guarantee the precision the structures were firstly created by wood and the estimations were balanced.
