Description

Firoz shah kotla The arena also houses a pristine polished sandstone Topra Ashokan pillar from the 3rd century B.C., one of the many pillars of the Ashoka left by the Mauryan emperor. Other than the Ashokan Pillar, the Fort complex also houses the Jami Masjid (Mosque), a Baoli and a large garden complex. The entire complex offers a wide spectrum of historical essence for movie shootings. India Gate At the centre of New Delhi stands the 42 m high India Gate, an 'Arc-de-Triomphe' like archway in the middle of a crossroad. Almost similar to its French counterpart, it commemorates the 70,000 Indian soldiers who lost their lives fighting for the British Army during the World War I. The memorial bears the names of more than 13,516 British and Indian soldiers killed in the North-western Frontier in the Afghan war of 1919 Raj path Raj path meaning 'King's Way' is a ceremonial avenue that is used during the Republic Day every year. It is located in the central part of Delhi and stretches from the Rashtrapati Bhavan through Vijay Chowk and India Gate, making it easily accessible from every corner of the capital city. President house The president is the Supreme Commander of the Indian Armed Forces. Only the president can declare war or conclude peace, on the advice of the Union Council of Ministers headed by the prime minister. Tea break in between. Then visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. Gurudwara Bangla sahib It is one of the most prominent Sikh Gurudwara, or Sikh house of worship, in Delhi, India, and known for its association with the eighth Sikh Guru, Guru Har Krishna, as well as the holy pond inside its complex, known as the 'Sarovar.' It was first built as a small shrine by Sikh General Sardar Baghel Singh in 1783, on the bungalow donated by king Raja Jai Singh of Amer, who supervised the construction of nine Sikh shrines in Delhi in the same year, during the reign of Mughal Emperor. Connaught place This is a frenetic business and financial hub, centered on a ring of colonnaded Georgian-style buildings with global chain stores, vintage cinemas, bars and Indian restaurants. Stalls at Jan path Market sell saris, embroidered bags and trinkets. Return back to the meeting point at 12:00 mid night.
